Aspirations for COB:- To maintain a popular club with players who are there to enjoy their rugby. Winning the Hankins Shield and the Abraham Cup would be an extra bonus.
I have always been proud to be a member of College Old Boys and have made many friends through the club. I feel especially honoured to be made President of the club this year and I will be very much committed to supporting all the club teams through my tenure and hopefully beyond.
I was a foundation member of the Coblers (College Old Boys Last Endangered Rugby Species) Golden Oldies Rugby/Netball Club that has become a big social entity. I am currently Secretary/Treasurer of the club. Unfortunately it seems that our playing days may be over as the club has struggled to get numbers to play away games and no one seems eager to take over the running of the club from the present committee. However, I have enjoyed the time that we have been operating and take pride that I have been able to still run and score the odd try or two at 60+.
